The design process begins with an initial consultation. We start with your budget parameters and an idea of what you want in a new home. If you wish, you can view any of our many existing floorplans and designs and start from there. |
Once we have a idea of the home you’re looking for, we develop a preliminary floorplan and elevation. You review our drawings and decide on any changes you would like to make. The process is repeated until you’re satisfied and the design is approved. |
After the design is complete, we will then take your plans and include all necessary technical information required to build your new home. Final plans are then submitted to the local building department for revision, approval and permits. |
THE CUSTOM DESIGN CHALLENGE
No two custom homes are ever exactly alike. Each project presents individual challenges and concerns … and each will have its own unique design process. This is why we have laid out a simplified framework that separates the design process into three easy steps. In this way, we will guide you from the large concepts to the small details to ensure a successful project. It’s this type of personal attention, making sure you’re involved in every step of the process, that truly defines a custom home. Nothing proceeds without your complete approval, because at Gregor Homes – we’re not satisfied until you are.
